Pharmacy
This department provides pharmacy services to Acute Care, Emergency, Chronic care and Oncology patients and is the center of all information on drugs and pharmaceuticals. The pharmacy offers a discharge medication review to explain to patients when and how to take their medication.

Occupational Health & Safety and Infection Control
This department plays an important part in making sure the workplace is healthy and safe.There is a Health and Safety committee that looks for hazards in the workplace and develops strategies for the prevention of injuries. A transitional work committee helps employees get back to work gradually after illness or injury. This department is a resource for information, referrals and minor treatment by a Registered Nurse with additional expertise in Occupational Health. Infection Control is of utmost importance in all hospitals today. Prevention
of infection is done through education, containment, and precautions, of which all strategies are evidence based.
